Hi everyone ^^

Here's part 2 of Chapter 18.

Like Part 1, I faced quite a fair bit of trouble in the process, but I managed to get more help from various people.

1. The Translators' Discord

I got invited to a Discord for Translators. Got to know a lot of things, some about the translating scene, some tips about publishing. Most importantly, I could go and ask them for help, so those big chunks of text that stall my progress were cleared a lot quicker.

2. My Japanese friends

Thank god I sold my soul back then to participate in those hosting programmes earlier this year XD

They offered to help me out if I had problems understanding the raws. #Nakama Power

One last thing before you go. Please take some time to read the update post that will be sent out shortly after this. It will provide more insight into the current situation as well as update schedules and things like that.

OP Waifus - Chapter 18 Part 4 Hi everyone ^^ I managed to complete part 4 of OP Waifus and with that, chapter 18 comes to an end. I'm having an exam tomorrow, but I'll probably work on a few more chapters/parts after that anyways. Being Able to Edit Skills in Another World, I Gained OP Waifus - Chapter 18.1

OP Waifus - [Chapter 18 Part 1] When I started translating this, I had expected some difficulties but I figured with my understanding of Japanese grammar, I can just Google Translate the unknown vocabulary ( There were A LOT  of them ;-; ) and I would be fine... I could not be more wrong :/ The only Japanese stuff I read had been manga so the sentences have always been short enough where they do not become too complex. Enter the world of web novels and suddenly they become a lot longer and a longer paragraph could mean a translation that does not fit with the rest of the story, causing me to spend a lot of time to review it and see what is the correct one ( As far as I can guess ). Then I encountered some Katakana that even Google Translate could not translate... Add that to the fact that the chapters are actually pretty long and I decided that I'll be splitting up the chapters into parts. I'll stop ranting and let you continue on to the story. Enjoy ^^

Update: 23/8/2018 Hi everyone. You might have realised that all the posts had their links replaced with a URL Shortener. Please put down the torches and pitchforks first alright? After chatting with my fellow translators, I came to know about aggregator sites, sites that steal your work and repost them. Not a fun thing considering I've already lost 2k views for "Rebirth Junior High School" to one site alone. Hence, I'll be adding URL Shortener links to the posts to counter them. The normal links at the bottom of the translation page will remain as per usual. Additionally, I might be replacing a few lines in my future releases with a screenshot of said lines. This is also a measure against those sites. Like I've said, I want to have a fair relationship, so in view of this development, I'll add one chapter/part to this week's quota. Thank you all for reading and understanding this. Do look forward to the bonus chapters ^^
